While I was stationed in Hawaii, I developed a love for photography. After all, capturing beauty on an island in the middle of the ocean is not hard to do right? I studied other photographer’s methods and learned how to compose scenes to my liking through knowledge of ISO, aperture, and shutter speeds. My first camera was a Canon Rebel T3 and I thought it was the best thing ever! I eventually transitioned to the Sony mirrorless ecosystem and never looked back. I invested (with some convincing) in the DJI Mavic Pro to capture all of Hawaii’s beauty and memorable moments on beaches. Having a bird’s perspective was eye opening and contributed to the development of the basics. All I wanted to do was shoot photography because it is a fantastic art. Fast forward six years and I am still fascinated by the stills captured by photographers in the world. Today, I capture hiking, travel, hunting, lifestyle, portraits, and streets through photography and videography.

I do it for the love of reliving those special moments in time.
